How do I log a meal?
Tap the "+" button at the bottom center of the screen. You can log meals in several ways:
  • Take or choose a photo and let AI identify your food
  • Tap the microphone icon and speak your meal description
  • Type a description of what you ate
  • Scan a barcode on packaged food
  • Search 13,000+ USDA foods (works offline)
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Open Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone, find SnapNutrition, and tap Cancel Subscription. You must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your current billing period to avoid being charged for the next period.
How do I restore my purchases?
If you reinstalled the app or switched devices, tap the "Restore" button on the paywall screen. This will restore your active subscription using your Apple Account. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you originally used to subscribe.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to the Profile tab, then tap Account Actions > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our servers, including your profile, meal logs, nutrition summaries, and coach conversations. This action cannot be undone. Note: deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription — please cancel through Apple first.
Are the nutrition values accurate?
SnapNutrition uses AI to estimate nutritional values. These are approximations, not clinical measurements. Actual values may vary based on ingredients, portion sizes, and preparation methods. You can manually edit any value if the AI estimate doesn’t look right. For precise dietary needs or medical conditions, always consult a qualified healthcare professional.
Does the app work offline?
The USDA food search database is stored locally and works without an internet connection. However, AI-powered features — photo analysis, voice logging, text analysis, barcode lookup, and the AI Coach — require an internet connection to process your request.
